Instructions
  1. Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly and set aside to dry.
  2. Preheat broiler unit in oven.
  3. On a large baking sheet, roll asparagus spears in olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle with coarse ground black pepper. Arrange evenly on pan.
  4. Broil asparagus under broiler until crisp-tender (approximately 6-8 minutes).
  5. Serve 6 spears each while hot. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days.
